Katrina Hernandez is a distinguished designer whose work has been prominently featured in several prestigious publications, including The New York Times, Architectural Digest, L’Uomo Vogue, House Beautiful, Domino, and Elle Décor. Her journey in the design world began in St. Michaels, Maryland, where she was raised in a family of creatives. With her mother and grandmother being small business owners in the antiques field, Katrina developed a deep appreciation for design from a young age. She initially embarked on her career in fashion as a design assistant at Gap Inc., followed by a position as a fabric buyer at Ralph Lauren, where she sourced textiles globally. In 2009, her love for textiles and design led her to the interiors department of AD100 firm Sawyer | Berson, and by 2014, she co-founded the New York-based design firm Hernandez Greene. The firm quickly made its mark, executing projects from New York to Los Angeles and earning spots on Architectural Digest’s Ones-to-Watch List and Elle Décor’s A-List within five years. Katrina Hernandez is celebrated for her approachable design process, focusing on creating polished, comfortable, and layered spaces that reflect both her clients' tastes and her sophisticated aesthetic. Her designs are known for being timeless and cohesive, often starting with soft goods to pay homage to her textile background. After moving to Los Angeles in 2019, Katrina continues to expand her business, applying her unique style and personalized approach to a growing portfolio of West Coast projects. Her ability to blend client preferences with her distinctive refined-bohemian style has solidified her reputation as a go-to designer for those seeking beautifully tailored interior spaces.

Who are the professionals on TALD?
TALD connects you with a curated community of trusted architects, interior designers, builders, and landscape designers. Each professional has been invited based on vision, expertise, and a proven track record of client satisfaction.
I only have a few questions. Is a consultation right for me?
Absolutely. Whether you're seeking fast-acting advice or diving into a full transformation, our community of designers is flexible when it comes to project size and scope. No question is too small, and no vision is too grand.
How should I prep for my consultation?
Gather anything that helps communicate your goals — floor plans, sketches, photos, inspiration images, or materials. Whether the conversation centers on architecture, interior design, construction, or landscaping, the more prepared you are, the more productive your consultation will be. Family members, architects, and contractors are welcome to join the call to maximize your time.
How long are TALD consultation calls?
You can book a 30-minute or 60-minute consultation. A 30-minute session is ideal for focused questions — like finalizing a kitchen layout, reviewing material options, or refining a landscape concept. A 60-minute session allows for deeper collaboration, especially helpful for larger home projects or boutique commercial spaces.
I’m planning a full project. Should I book a consultation or full-service?
If you want a trusted professional to manage your project from concept to completion — whether it's building a new home, renovating a historic property, or designing a boutique commercial space — submit a full-service inquiry. If you're taking a more hands-on approach but want expert input along the way, a consultation is a smart fit.
How do I find the right professional for my project?
Browse TALD’s trusted community of architects, interior designers, builders, and landscape experts by location, project type, style, budget and more. What is TALD’s cancellation policy?
Please reschedule or cancel your consultation at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged in full.
