Tara Diamond Cain creates fresh, timeless environments for clients that effortlessly marry beauty and function. With meticulous attention to detail, she loves shepherding residential projects from start to finish to make the design journey seamless and fulfilling for her clients. A Minneapolis native, Tara honed her eye living in Berlin and Atlanta for over a dozen years with her family, absorbing the ways those cities honor history and embrace modern design. She found additional inspiration traveling the world and developed a deep appreciation for architecture, art and different cultures. Through this sophisticated lens, Tara works collaboratively with architects, builders and craftspeople to bring her client's vision to reality. Before embarking on a design career nearly a decade ago, Tara worked in business which instilled in her the importance of efficient processes, project management and deliverables. Whether marshaling a custom home from the ground up, doing a complex renovation, or finishing a few rooms, Tara strives to provide immeasurable value by stewarding her clients' time, energy and investment.

Absolutely. Whether you're seeking fast-acting advice or diving into a full transformation, our community of designers is flexible when it comes to project size and scope. No question is too small, and no vision is too grand.
How can I prep for my consultation call?
Gather your design ideas and all forms of inspiration (think: sketches, photos, color swatches and images from your chosen designer’s portfolio). The more prepared you are for your consultation, the more personalized and productive your consultation call will be. You are welcome to have family members and architects present to optimize your time.
How long are the consultation calls?
You have two options — 30 minutes and 60 minutes. The half-hour call is great for quick questions and decision making, like choosing paint colors or reviewing some of your selections before pulling the trigger. You're in control. Submit a full-service inquiry for a traditional interior design experience where you have a professional taking a hands-on approach from start to finish.
