Kate Ferguson is the founder and principal designer of Palomino Interiors, a full-service interior design firm based in New Canaan, CT, with projects across New England, Florida, and Texas. Kate’s journey into interior design began after a decade in advertising and photoshoot production for global brands like Pepsico, Starbucks, and Reebok. Seeking more creative freedom and flexibility, she turned her passion for collecting and selling antiques into a thriving design business, launching Palomino Interiors in 2014. With a degree in anthropology from Tulane University, Kate brings a thoughtful and layered approach to her work. She skillfully blends vintage furnishings, custom pieces, and one-of-a-kind objects to create timeless interiors that reflect her clients’ traditions, values, and lifestyles. As a mother of four and an active member of the New Canaan community, Kate deeply understands the importance of designing homes that feel personal and connected.
