Stephanie Agne is the founder of Retreat Interior Design Studio, a Kansas City-based firm rooted in creating comfortable, functional spaces inspired by travel and everyday life. Her approach blends thoughtful design with a relaxed sensibility, incorporating cozy textiles, warm lighting, vintage finds, and handmade pieces to create interiors that feel lived-in and personal. Before launching her studio, Stephanie owned Golden & Pine, a well-loved home goods shop in Kansas City that evolved into an interior design studio. After years of curating furniture, rugs, and decor, she made the full transition to design in 2023. A self-described serial renovator, she has completed four full-home renovations in the past eight years, giving her firsthand experience in balancing aesthetics with practicality.
