We are a boutique Interior design firm, specializing in ground up construction and major remodels. We are committed to enhancing the day to day lives of our clients and their families through our collaborative process. We care about the fiber of our community, and aim to leave a lasting impression for the future generations. We approach every project in a holistic way, thinking beyond the material applications and focusing on the intangibles of construction. We consider the foundation of the home: The space plan, the air flow, ways to capture natural light, architectural details; essentially the bones, the most important element in any design. Ashley Ausland is the Principal designer of Ausland Interiors, located in Hermosa Beach, California. Her passion for interior design was cultivated at an early age and has continued to grow as she helps her clients transform their houses into homes. She is fluent in the language of space planning, and loves all aspects of the construction process. After receiving her BA in History from UCLA, she continued onto the Interior Design Program and received her Master's degree in Interior Architecture. Ausland Interiors was born in 2014, and is a full service design firm. Ashley is a strong proponent that a thoughtful designer will ultimately reduce the costs and stresses involved with the construction process. She strives to incorporate elements of comfort, durability, and functionality into each space. She is known for her ability to curate unique vintage pieces to encourage cost effective design, and believes that blending new pieces with old will create a look of effortlessly acquired style. Through her designs, she seeks to enhance the way her clients enjoy their everyday life.
