Rebecca Gibbs is the Principal Designer and founder of Rebecca Gibbs Design. Since establishing her studio in 2012, she has approached each project with a deep respect for architecture, history, and the way a home shapes daily life. Her work is rooted in the belief that enduring interiors are not defined by a particular style, but by thoughtful choices and spaces that feel collected, personal, and deeply connected to the people who live in them. With a love for historic architecture and design, Rebecca brings a studied yet approachable perspective to both new construction and renovation. Her interiors draw inspiration from art, nature, craftsmanship, and the individuality of her clients, resulting in homes that feel layered, distinctive, and meant to evolve over time. Rebecca's work has been featured in Domino, Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, and Traditional Home, where she was recognized as a Rising Star in 2022. In 2026, her storefront, oakstreet shoppe, was named one of House Beautiful's Best Home Stores in America. In addition to leading Rebecca Gibbs Design, Rebecca teaches Architectural History as an adjunct at her alma mater, a natural extension of her longtime interest in architecture, interiors, and the decorative arts. Away from the studio, she finds inspiration traveling with her husband, Lucas, and in the lively rhythms of family life with their four growing boys, experiences that continually reinforce her belief that the most beautiful homes are the ones designed to be truly lived in. Rebecca is a Registered Interior Designer with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, NCIDQ certified, and an active member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. With fifteen years of experience in new construction design and build, Rebecca's insights are comprehensive, offering clients confidence in their investment. Her expertise covers a broad spectrum, from drafting initial floor plans for new builds and renovations to applying the final furnishing touches, showcasing her exceptional eye for detail in every project. Notably, the projects featured in her portfolio under 'new builds' highlight her extensive role in designing and planning from the ground up, demonstrating her thorough dedication throughout the interior design process.

I only have a few questions. Is a consultation call right for me?
Absolutely. Whether you're seeking fast-acting advice or diving into a full transformation, our community of designers is flexible when it comes to project size and scope. No question is too small, and no vision is too grand.
How can I prep for my consultation call?
Gather anything that helps communicate your goals — floor plans, sketches, photos, inspiration images, or materials. Whether the conversation centers on architecture, interior design, construction, or landscaping, the more prepared you are, the more productive your consultation will be. Family members, architects, and contractors are welcome to join the call to maximize your time.
How long are the consultation calls?
You can book a 30-minute or 60-minute consultation. A 30-minute session is ideal for focused questions — like finalizing a kitchen layout, reviewing material options, or refining a landscape concept. A 60-minute session allows for deeper collaboration, especially helpful for larger home projects or boutique commercial spaces.
I'm ready to revamp my entire home. Consultation call or full-service booking?
If you want a trusted professional to manage your project from concept to completion — whether it's building a new home, renovating a historic property, or designing a boutique commercial space — submit a full-service inquiry. If you're taking a more hands-on approach but want expert input along the way, a consultation is a smart fit.
