Sarah Henley is the founder and principal designer of Henley Design, a full-service interior design studio with locations in Salem, Massachusetts, and New London, New Hampshire. With over a decade of professional experience, Sarah brings a thoughtful approach to projects ranging from decorating to full-scale renovations and new construction. While based in Northern New England, Henley Design also manages projects nationwide, including in New York, California, and beyond. Sarah’s design sensibilities are deeply influenced by her upbringing in New England and her time spent in the Bay Area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Studio Art from Dartmouth College and studied Interior Design at UC Berkeley's Extension Program. Before founding Henley Design, Sarah served as a Senior Designer at Anyon Design in San Francisco, where she worked on residential projects in Manhattan, Memphis, Sonoma, Tahoe, and Oakland, as well as commercial spaces like boutique hotels and tasting rooms. Sarah tailors her design process to each client’s unique needs, drawing inspiration from her grandmother Judy, who fostered her love of art and design.
